Position Summary:

The registered nurse (RN) plans, coordinates and implements patient care specific to the age of the patient population served on the Intensive Care Unit. The RN ensures that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with departmental standards of care. The RN demonstrates performance consistent with the mission, philosophy and goals of the assigned unit and the organization. They remain flexible to changing systems - are expected to demonstrate quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practices, and treat staff, physicians, patients and families with consideration and respect.

Minimum Qualifications:

Current WA State RN license. Two years of ICU/CCU experience required with focus on cardiac care. Experience in care of Acute MI patient desired. Two years of Cardiac Interventional cath lab experience preferred. AHA HCP (BLS for Healthcare Providers) and ACLS. CCRN certification would be a plus.

This is a Union Position.

Wage Scale: $40.01 - $74.17
