Position Summary:

Performs all assigned duties as a member of the Cath Lab team for adult and geriatric patients. Assumes responsibility for patient management: including, but not limited to, assessment, patient teaching, documentation, medication administration, and collaboration with physicians. Fulfills the role of circulator and performs the role of the procedure monitor/documentation. Participates in continuous quality improvement to assure optimal patient outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications:

Required:

Graduate of a nursing program with diploma or associate degree in nursing

Current PA license

Critical Care Course

CPR certification and ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months

One year nursing experience in acute cardiac care

Preferred:

Two years nursing experience in cath lab preferred

Knowledge of Access database preferred
