Baltimore Washington Medical Center (BWMC), a member of the University of Maryland Medical System, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner specializing in diabetes management to join our primary care team in providing high-quality comprehensive care in the ambulatory setting Located in Glen Burnie, MD our primary care practice has a long-standing tradition of delivering exceptional diabetes care to the community.

Job Description

• Provide outpatient management for adult diabetic patients, including follow ups, medication management diabetic education and care plan development.
• Utilize expertise in insulin dosage, medication management, glucose monitoring and pumps to optimize patient care.
• Collaborate within a supportive primary care team environment.
• This role offers full time day shifts with no weekends or call requirements.

Qualifications

• Master of Science degree with a completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner
• Proven experience working with and managing diabetes patients as an NP preferred for a minimum of 3 years, new graduates are welcome to apply.
• Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse.
• DEA and CDS eligibility
